REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration for the eighth annual Door County Triathlon taking place the weekend of July 21-22, 2012 will open on January 1, 2012. An email reminder will go out to all past participants in December and on January 1st announcing the opening of registration. If you are not already on our email distribution list, you may sign up via the link on the front page of this website.

*A relay team may consist of 2-3 individuals participating as a team with one swimmer, one biker and one runner. Relay team members hand off a timing chip on a neoprene band. The relay registration prices above are a flat rate PER TEAM.

 

THERE IS NO OFFLINE (MAIL IN) REGISTRATION FOR THE DOOR COUNTY TRIATHLON. YOU MUST REGISTER ONLINE.

PACKET CREDENTIALS

Per USA Triathlon guidelines, only the participant themselves with a valid photo ID may pick up their packet.  You must be the participant and you must have a photo ID to pick up your packet. Since we offer race day packet pick up, there is no legitimate reason for us to make exceptions to this policy.   For relay teams, only one member of the team needs to be present in order to pick up the packet but they must be listed as a participant and show a valid photo ID.  Relay team packets contain all credentials for that relay team.  The relay team member who picks up their packet must also pick up their team members’ t-shirts and goodie bags at the time of pick up.

 

 

REFUNDS & TRANSFERS

REFUND REQUESTS
There will be NO REFUNDS issued for ANY reason.
There are absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

 

 

TRANSFER FROM 2012 TO 2013 EVENT (aka DEFERRALS)
There will be NO TRANSFERS from this year’s event to future year events.

 

TRANSFERS FROM ATHLETE TO ATHLETE
Participants MAY transfer their entry to another athlete online for a $20 transfer fee. Transfers between athletes will be accepted THROUGH JUNE 30, 2012 at mignight. After June 30th, TRANSFERS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. We recomment the event’s FACEBOOK PAGE (CLICK HERE) for finding buyers and sellers.  Transfers from athlete to athlete will be accommodated online.  A transfer link will be available soon.

 

SWITCHING FROM EVENT TO EVENT
Switching between the four event categories (Sprint-Individual, Sprint-Relay, Half Iron-Individual, Half Iron-Relay) WILL NOT be permitted.  Due to the administrative hassle of processing switches between events, we no longer accommodate such changes. You may not switch from Sprint to Half Iron or vice-versa.  You may not switch from individual to relay or vice-versa. The only way to change events is to sell your own entry and find a willing seller for the category that you wish to participate in.  See paragraph above for information on transfering your entry.
